Things Only Dog Parents Will Understand
- Coming home to your dog. Everytime you walk through the door of your home, your dog(s) will always be excited. It does not matter if you just went to grab the mail or take out the trash. They will be jumping, zooming, barking, or whatever they do when you return.
- The best alarm clock. Waking up to that loud iPhone alarm blaring at you is just not the same as waking up to your dog’s kisses. You can hit the snooze button all you want but if your pup is waiting to potty, the clock is ticking.
- A camera roll full of dog pictures. Some people like to take pictures of their food. Some people like to take pictures of themselves. We like to take pictures of our dog(s) and have no shame in having that many pictures of them.
- Staying in on the weekends. Instead of going out for Sunday brunch with some friends or shopping at the mall, we prefer to stay home and hang out with our pups. If we do go out somewhere then the first requirement is that it is a dog friendly place.
- Doggy hair everywhere. It does not matter how many times you may sweep the floors or lint roll your clothes. There will always be some of your dog’s fur lingering and at this point we just don’t care anymore.
